when expansion happens and the worthy schools are gone, then it becomes about potential. Big 10, SEC might be able to rob from other P5 conferences, but other conferences will not be taking from either of those two conferences. If the ACC expands, (assuming ND is not an option) then our best case scenario will be schools from the B12, WVU would be the best option from the B12. Other B12 schools would be a geographical challenge. Also, the B12 might stay together, but even then I would think that WVU would consider the ACC. Any other options for the ACC would be schools selected on potential. At least the calls for inviting UConn will have ended at this point. I don't see a third Florida team getting invited. Next in line I would give a look to Cincinnati. They are starting to look more interesting. They seem to be putting real effort into improving their program, and may actually have potential if they found a good home. Assuming that the other B12 schools would not be options (either for wanting to stay together or for the ACC not wanting to expand that far geographically), then if we had to add two schools WVU and Cinn. would be my top considerations. Of course assuming ND is not an option.

I know some would only want to consider B12 teams, but the geographical distance can be a real problem, as WVU has found out. If you added 4 teams instead of just two then the distance issue is improved, and it becomes more reasonable I would think.
