Inkjets ain't so bad if you switch to aftermarket ink.


In my specific case:

Canon OEM ink - $50 for a full set of cartridges.

Aftermarket ink from Amazon - $18 for three full sets of cartridges.

I do need color in documents I print occasionally, but i'm not printing photographs. So if the colors are just barely off (a common complaint about aftermarket ink), I've never noticed it.
