Read Edgeman's link more closely. In the summary it stays


"The study findings reveal that individuals who previously had symptomatic COVID-19 are less likely to get additional benefits from vaccination.".

Note the word symptomatic. So it doesn't necessarily mean that the people who had it (or had positive test(s)), without any symptoms, are protected.
