Obviously we're okay with it
because Swarbrick was on the committee. Just like we had to give games to a conference to maintain independence we had to sacrifice getting a bye. Not a great deal, but not atrocious. We're treating the first game in the playoff as our CCG to justify the deal.
Look at it this way. Say we join the ACC and continually face Clemson and win a generous 50% (more like 25-30) of those games. That means 50% of the time we would still be in hoping for an at large berth. That is not a huge sacrifice.
The one question I have is about recruiting. How does it affect us out on the trial .
