I hope there is enough resistance to splice it down to 8.

If they do the 6 champs and 2 at-large, it still satisfies much of what 12 would accomplish. But it would be better. Just one man's opinion.

Like some of you guys were saying earlier, throwing a large number out there and work down to the number they really want.
