How will CFP (and other recent news) impact conference realignment?

Access to the CFP is only one factor, albeit a big one, that impacts schools' decisions to change conferences or invite new conference mates. You would think that the emphasis on conference champions in this CFP-12 model would cause a conference to NOT enlarge its own conference. But maybe not.

With ND to the ACC far less likely. Will the ACC and WVU make a move to unite? Will the BigXII take on BYU? Will there be contraction of some sort? How will TV impact taking on new schools (markets, new states, etc.)? What about G5 schools that make a bigger name for themselves now with access to the CFP; will they be attractive to a P5 conference? Will they even want to come if they are doing just fine where they are? And more.

Just some things I was thinking about.

Kind of an open-ended subject line. What are you guys thinking?
