the ACC continues to do its thing with half the budget of the SEC/Big10. And has football not at the same level .

I mean what is the worse that can happen if the ACC doesnt implode and break apart? VT will not be a national factor- which is exactly what we've been for 90+ out of the last 100+ years. But we will play against regional rivals on equal footing- Uva UNC NCSU Pitt- maybe even WVU and UMD. And all other sports in the ACC will be largely unaffected. They are already thriving on athletics budgets significantly below sec/big.

Sometimes you gotta just say uncle. and everything that is happening recently just confirms now is the time to say it.
