Remember this is all about the $$ and Cable markets likely does not matter

If UT and OU go to the SEC, this will create a scenario where the SEC will be making so much money that they will tower about the Big 10 and the other conferences.

If this happens, the conferences will be on a hunt for cash in order to try to compete with the SEC. The Big 10 will have to add schools to sweeten their contract appeal. The ACC will have to bring in a big hitter, somehow, to get ESPN to renegotiate their deal. The Pac 12 will need help. Who knows where the Big XII will end up in all of this.

At the end of the day, the leagues are going to have to try to chase down the SEC for money and the only way to do that is to break up the structures of the leagues to force renegotiaons to happen.
