The one Swoffy trusted too much was Maryland, not ESPN

Given that the ACC still sits here with a seat at the table in the College Football Power structure, which we do, ESPN has been good to the ACC. 30 years ago the ACC was a regional basketball conference.

Gene Corrigan gets some of the credit too.
