I think both sides of the issue have their pros and cons. Both sides are
being defined by their idiots as well.
Ivermectin won the Nobel prize recently for use in humans. And there have been cases where people with Covid have been PRESCRIBED it from their doctor and they got better. If I am close to death and the doctor says, "Well, we could try ________." I say HECK YES. I'll try it. I'm not going to be high and mighty and say, "No way! That's used as a horse dewormer!" That said, it has not been studied for Covid19 and its results in use have been mixed at best. Like I said, if I get really sick and the doctor wants to try it, you're damn straight I'm gonna take it.
However....there is one thing (despite the mixed messages from our government leaders) that is incredibly effective at preventing you from getting sick from Covid.....the vaccine. It works and it's safe. (Again, our government is clouding the message by saying you're not safe from others even if you are vaccinated....so many are finding it hard to trust anything they say). If you get the vaccine, you're less likely to get hospitalized, seriously ill, and/or die than you would from the flu. (I find it sad that some would not trust the vaccine yet put all their faith in ivermectin).
My thought: The vaccine works sooooo much better and is much safer. But if for some reason it doesn't work, I'll be willing to take any medicine to save my life....even if it can be used on horses.
Those calling it a horse dewormer are idiots....and those going to Tractor Supply Company to get it to take on their own are idiots.
That's my take. Sorry if it offends anyone.
