I don't think so

With the exception of South Carolina, the SEC's additions have come from schools within the top tier of college football. The Big East's claim to that status was severely compromised by the ACC raid and expansion.

I know for certain that we were not even on the SEC's radar back in 2003. And the smoke associated with us and that league in 2011 was a direct result of our relative success demonstrated at that time within the ACC.
