The Q1 defense was awful. We looked slow and out-schemed to your point. My reason for not mentioned the D was because we're really in year 1 of his defense (some would argue 2). I'm not the type of person who overreacts to a single loss or is blind to the fact that it takes time to implement your base scheme. We should have better prepared but the defense got better as the game evolved.

The offensive issues under Corny have been the same for the last several years with no adjustments, no signs of improvement in my opinion. I watched a lot of games yesterday and the routes and movement of every other team look better than ours. When I know what play we're running next the opponent surely does. We can't seem to create space consistently and the lack of creativity with some decent weapons tell me all I need to know. Everyone rightfully harps on the jet sweep but the issues are far deeper than that. His bag of options seems to have a massive hole in it.
