I would think if hoarse collar tackle is fair game

Inside tackle box, why isn’t targeting?

Unfortunately, I think the targeting call in general, is the single worst rule ever made. I bet if you slowed down almost every tackle, you could find helmet to helmet contact.
And I know targeting is more than that, it’s just bad. If you want to throw the flag, fine. But to disqualify someone makes no sense.

I’m still waiting for a day when a player gets a targeting call on them and they get so frustrated that they take off their helmet and pads and just walk off the field.
