Too often policies are made in a bubble & with good intent, but
too often the bigger picture ramifications aren't seen. One example is being brought to light with the recent California debacle at the ports. Fingers are being pointed to a trucker shortage...well, CA had policy that took away owner/operator type of trucks in the name of safety...favoring unions within the state. They then legislate the type of truck one has to use on their roads in a move to get them all electric. But the reality is, here we are with a shortage of things...one needs to question who benefits from scarcity perceived or not.
