If the Sun Belt picks off two more
Maybe they could add in JMU to that list? I could also see the CUSA leftovers, whatever their number, skipping over Liberty and maybe JMU gets in that way. Liberty is worthy on the field, but it will be tough to get any liberal Universities to associate with them in any way (besides playing them that is).
But gosh, that CUSA is going to be a trash fire. Looks like Marshall, WKU, Middle Tenn, FIU, ODU, UTEP, La Tech, and Southern Miss.
I'd bet they vote to dissolve, and they get further raided by the Sun Belt for at least two more. But maybe that bunch will be successful pulling from the Sun Belt. Normally, I would say 50/50 either way, but the fact that dissolving looks very possible to me makes me think the Sun Belt will win out.
You could take the top half of the Sun Belt (no ULM) and the top half of the leftover CUSA, you could do better, but that probably won't happen. It would require dissolving the Sun Belt, too, and I doubt they could get enough votes for that.
