I definitely recommend trex. We’ve had ours for about 6 years. Still looks


great. It’s brown but haven’t had any fading issues like jd. Very sturdy. Pollen getting in the cracks of our treated lumber deck killed it. Would peel off splinters when I’d power wash. That’s not an issue with trex. If there’s any downside, I agree with late 80s that brown trex gets hot in the summer. Too hot to walk barefoot if the sun’s shining on it.
