It's foolish to put such limits on the selection process.

It's like the Vietnam Syndrome. If you made a mistake in the past, doing the opposite in the present seems like the right thing to do in theory. But it often times isn't in reality.

Maybe we just picked the wrong G5 coach.

Every choice has its risks. And we will be taking more risks than last time since we have a big buyout to pay for. I thought we overpaid for Fuente in the first place, and he was only a G5 HC.

For the record, Matt Rhule (Temple) was a G5 coach available at the time that we hired Fuente. I had Rhule far higher on my candidate list than JF at the time.
