This is my feeling exactly

I think there were feelers put out but for some unknown reason the powers that be at Tech decided to stay in the ACC. I don't think they ever lobbied the SEC when they were expanding so they crossed us off their list before giving an official offer. We may not have been accepted in the end but I don't think we tried very hard for an invite.
I will say again, at the time we had a lot to offer the SEC. It would have been mutually advantageous. Now... Ferget about it.
