I didn't like how Maine essentially took 10 seconds off our shot clock every possession with the pressure. I'm not sure there is anything we can do about that. Of course, we looked fine with the 20 seconds of shot clock we had.

Aluma and Murphy - both started a bit slow. To be expected. They probably have the most pressure on the team with the preseason accolades and all. I thought both appeared to handle their lack of scoring in stride which is a good sign.

Murphy - love the handles, the leadership and the stroke. He'll be fine. I understand he may be a liability of defense, but it sure won't be from lack of effort. Kid is scrappy.

Mutts - my goodness, how many triple doubles will he get this year?

Alleyne - love that kid. Smooth stroke, can score many ways, fun to watch.

Cattoor - same ol' Hunter. Solid as a rock. I feel very comfortable with him on the court.

N'Guessan - played freely, with confidence, excited about what he will do this year.

Ojiako - my goodness, what a beast. He looks super athletic and very skilled for a 6-10 245lber. Really excited in what I saw from Big John.

Pedulla - looked like Storm Jr. Nice stroke. Good handles. Not sure how he will hold up defensively though.

Maddox - nice game. Shot still looks awkward, but he makes shots. Love the length that he brings to wing.

Haynes - what a big dude. Didn't do much.

Kidd - looked nervous.
