Based on MY's quote down below, I can see why he said the numbers

may be deceptive. For example, when I watched the replay last night it seemed like Maine was getting a lot of "long rebounds" even though the Hokies were well positioned down low in the paint. So the first question I would want to know is how many "long rebounds" did each team have last night? If about 50% or more of Maine's rebounds were long rebounds, then it may not be as big of an issue as it appears it could be in your post.
