I feel terrible as yesterday he came to visit us and I forgot to tell him to park in our driveway. I remembered this after an hour and we went out to move it and it was already towed. To make things worse the car is registered in his dads name and they would not let us get it without power of attorney. His Dad had to drive 3 hours from South Florida to get it. All because of ridiculous HOA rules. The car was parked at the curb in front of my townhouse. It just slipped my mind because we just got a family member out of the hospital so I was thinking about other stuff. In my neighborhood they only let you park parallel to a sidewalk and it just varies as to where that is. On a positive note I got to meet his Dad and he is a very nice guy. I offered to pay the $155 to get the car out but he refused.
