Yep, it's no small thing

I have lived in NH for 10 years now and every single year there a numerous stories of people needing to be rescued throughout the year, typically for weather related situations. In the late summer and fall, people go up underdressed, not understanding how much different the weather can be as you go north and higher in elevation. In the spring, we get a 65 or 70 degree day and people go north to hike, not realizing that there is still 60, 70, 80 inches of snow pack as you go to higher elevations.

I have a young engineer who works for me who has climbed all 48 of the NH 4000 ft peaks in the last 2 years. Thanks, COVID!
