but conditioned crawl spaces are becoming more and more of a thing and the you should have continuous insulation and then keep the vapor barrier above the dew point temperature.

Also you have to take in the big picture - a few drops of condensation, on concrete/block walls, in a crawl space, only when conditions are just right (wrong) isn't the end of the world - it'll likely dry out if those conditions are truly "transitory".

Where that condensation can leak into habitable spaces or is trapped against wood or other products that can rot/deteriorate is when it becomes a serious issue.
