In my scenario, unfortunately, it'd be Notre Dame. But, all of the

issues go away if it's simply bumped to 8 teams in it. Put each P5 champion in, a group of 5 team, as decided by those conferences, and 2 at large.

People would whine about a team in there at 9-4, because it could happen, but the regular would mean more. It would reward winning your conference.

I have a real problem with a team losing it's last game, yet still getting in this, since it's only 4 teams.
