My problem goes the the other way - ND moves up by not playing

I would also love to see the playoff expanded to 8, which I think is a fair number for football.

I have a big problem with punishing UGA (or any team in a similar situation) for losing their conference championship and allowing ND to move up and take their place. On top of that, after seeing Notre Dame a couple of times this year, I firmly believe that UGA or Bama would run circles around them.

my rankings are Alabama/UGA > Cincinnati > Notre Dame, and the gap between the first two groups is large
