Salem, among others are good because they have an established system, not spectacular players. They run the same plays and schemes from the first time they put on pads, up until high school. If you want to coach your kid when they start, you don't call the shots. You aren't going to develop him into Tom Brady, you're going to develop him into that HS QB. They win on execution, not necessarily talent.
