- Generally, it seems football, wrestling, and hockey are the worst, soccer the lowest among contact sports; swimming, baseball, volleyball, etc. even less.
- Female sports have more concussions than their male counterparts pairwise
- "The few available data on high school football players suggest that more concussions are sustained by linebackers and running backs compared to other football positions."
- Older athletes more likely to get hurt*

Their study of athletes in HI:
- Same more female concussions than male in the same sport, except XC. As a former XC runner, this outlier doesn't surprise me.****
- Having had 1 concussion makes you more likely to have a 2nd
- Going by their adjustment accounting for age and sex, Wrestling&Martial Arts, Football, T&F**, Cheerleading, basketball, softball, soccer, baseball
- By position in football: RB, DB, K***, OL, QB, WR, DL, LB (but not statistically significant in this study, they suggest this may be due to players playing multiple positions impacting their data)

* They mention it, but didn't adjust for playing time. Suggest speed, strength, and previous concussions as factors, too.
** T&F would be interesting to see by event. Guessing there's meaningful stratification between runners/hurdlers/various field events
*** Kicker was a really small sample size
**** They suggest it may be due to biomechanical differences but also more likely to report/notice/etc.
