I try not to forget we are in year three of a total rebuild from the gut job that CMY was dealt. I think a combination of the 0-3 start after high expectations coupled with NA slump and some memories of the recruiting misses still linger. Jeez…I mean Beamer had a rough start too. Not comparing Young to Beams but it’s way to early to jump ship. I’m no guru but I do get to watch a little basketball and our recruiting class next year might be a little underrated in that Collins and Wessler are much improved and if they continue to work they will be nice pieces. College sports is a train wreck now with NLI and the portal and it’s a hard place to navigate. Every school that aspires to be more than a middler will need to figure out some things in regard to the portal and NLI.
