I got pilloried for suggesting that here, and that "maybe" they can be transmitted by aerosols. Listened to Michael Osterholm way (way) back and could read between the lines that surfaces weren't a concern but they weren't going to message that, so it was do it anyway and they would be right because it's a general truth for all germs even if it was only a 5% transmission path a best for covid.
