It’s tough correcting a non conventional shooter.


Often it hurts more than it helps.

I haven’t coached a college team, but on my girls team I have had many non conventional shooters. Often they get a ton of advise in slumps especially from folks who think they need to switch to a more conventional style. I don’t advocate this in the middle of a season and often the only solution for a non conventional shooter is for them to work their way out of it.

Too much advice and it gets into their head. Makes things alot worse.
