Yes, VT rarely plays NC State and even Wake given the current

cross-division scheduling format. I don't think there is a scenario where VT would end up playing all 4 NC schools during the regular season (outside the 2020 Season which was a unique situation). It is worth noting that during the 2020 Season VT played NC State at home and 3 remaining NC schools away. Also, VT was 1 week away from playing @Duke, @UNC, and @Wake 3 weeks in a row.

Oct 10: @UNC
Oct 17: BC
Oct 24: @Wake

It is also worth noting that in 2019 VT played Duke, UNC, and Wake all at home.

Sep 27: Duke
Oct 19: UNC
Nov 9: Wake

While in 2015 VT played NC State, Duke, and UNC all at home.

Oct 9: NC State
Oct 24: Duke
Nov 21: UNC

In 2014 VT played UNC, Duke, and Wake all away.
