The officials have always blown less whistles


in the tourney. And the aggressive coaches and teams know it. It has to be reigned in. It was ridiculous vs UNC. And UNC is another big strong team.
And there have been several similar games although not as high profile. I don't think no matter how well VTs current roster had played that they could survive that kind of officiating . I'm in a way almost happy we didn't advance only to get brutalized in a game like that.
