It’s been coming up for several years now, but there’s TV as well


The more youth players use it and comfortable with it, they’ve grown in usage as those players get to the college level. 6-7 years ago not many at all. I think the parents of said athlete also has a say I bet.

Primarily see them on pitchers, don’t see IFs too much. But with NIL coming into play and conference TV networks, wonder if fewer will wear them because of potential $$ they can earn. Call it sexist, but we all know Jennie Finch would have made a truckload of money if she played in the NIL era. If she’s wearing a mask not as much I bet.
