So how accurate are the guns themselves


When VT played Longwood, the Longwood pitcher's dad had a radar gun that he used on every pitch and Emma hit 72 two or three times during her no hitter. She was pretty consistently hitting 68-70.

When UNC played in Blacksburg, the Heels had a staff member sitting behind home plate charting every single pitch and again Emma hit 71-72 a few times but most of the time it was 68-70.
