From what I remember


The NC State "insider" that called ND to the ACC for all but football weeks before the deal was announced also said that ND to the ACC in football was in the works for 2016. #16 was desired by the league to be 1, Penn State; 2, TX; or 3, Navy; and the hard press was on. I think it was posted during football season. Sorry, no link though.
