I don't know that I'm up to an in-depth analysis at the moment.

It's been a long year (I think I wrote 12 or so previews this year) and I'm a bit bummed at the moment. It's hard not to get personally invested, so I can understand your question.

Off the top of my head, I personally think "frustrated" is probably too strong of a word

But there are others on this board that I respect tremendously that may have a different opinion. That what makes this board cool - we can respectfully disagree and still be friends.

We certainly had games that got away from us this year and in the end, that probably cost us an NCAA bid.

Did we overschedule with the youth that we had? Possibly. I think long term, we'll be stronger for it, but at times, we played like freshmen.

I also don't think you can overlook the loss of Kelly Heinz. Having that second, dependable pitcher would have probably been a key difference several times this year. Maggie had a GREAT year, but she was truly the workhorse.

I do believe the future is very bright as we have a ton of talent returning as well as some top recruits on the way during the next two years.

I'll let my comrades weigh in while I go pout....lol
