Personally I think it's prohibitively expensive now.

I know college tuition is costly, but I'm not committing to $500+/month for the next 181 months for my 2-year old. (It's obviously even more if you have less time).

I went with the inVest option where I can control the payment amount and frequency and cross my fingers that the market can give me good enough returns.
