Right, I think that's approximately right. Reason I bring it up is someone
said, why bother with debates, it's not like anyone is changing their mind. I responded with, I don't these mysterious swing voters but based on the ebbs and flows of polling, I would say some amount of people, do indeed, change their minds.
He responded with no way, the same people aren't polled each time. Well, no, but polls are constructed in a way to get a representative sample of people each and every time within a reasonable margin of error (2% seems to be common in these polls).
