If the big12 doesn't expand, it's a shame that the 20 or so...

Schools that were in this charade can't get compensation for costs in this fiasco. They (especially schools like Houston, Cincinnati and byu) put a lot of time and money into this process in good faith that the big12 would expand after they formally requested applications. To pull the plug now would be ridiculous. The conference knew which schools were available when they asked for invitations so to say they don't now like the options is not acceptable in my opinion. Did they expect fsu or nd would unexpectedly decide to join the cattle call?!
