Why would we take anyone?


I hope we don't throw out life rafts to anyone unless they add at least as much as they take out. That's where a lot of these dissolution scenarios lose me - they assume that the SEC and the BIG will get the prime cuts and then the ACC/PAC will pick up a bunch of scraps. They might get the prime cuts - I just hope we pass on the scraps.

I have no issue with having WVU in the ACC, as long as they are increasing the size of the pie - I just don't see that they do. They have some natural rivals (PITT, VT, Louisville, etc.) but I'm not sure that is enough given their total lack of market.
