Over the counter stuff doesn't work for full outbreaks

I had never been so miserable-went to my regular doctor immediately and did the round of prednisone nothing. went back and he said I had to see a dermitalogist. my regular derm couldn't even see me for a week. Tried explaining it was an emergency-nope, not available. Ended up making an apt w/ a PA who was able to consult with the MD during my appt.

Since then found a primary care physician who also specializes in dermatology. He seems to be much more flexible with availability. Unfortunately he is going to retire soon and haven't found anyone else in NOVA that does that.
