Re: Desperate long shot - Any Dermatologists around? (inside)

What medications does your wife take, and has she been in direct sunlight? Some drugs specify that exposure to sunlight is contraindicated. Many years ago, while I was taking Tetracycline, I spent a couple of hours at an outdoor pool. By the next morning, exposed areas of my skin were swollen and covered by painful, boil-like blisters. My face was unrecognizable, and I feared I was permanently disfigured. The only thing that helped soothe the pain was dabbing the skin with ice water. Thankfully, everything was back to normal in a few days. Thought I'd mention this, just in case.
