Who writes this stuff, and does VT actually think anyone buys into any of that? That sounds like an SNL skit about a Fortune 500 company conference call where the over-exaggerated meeting leader crams as many corporate-speak buzzwords in as possible.

I wouldn't last 5 minutes in the world of academia. I'm a mild-mannered, polite guy who is good at biting his tongue....but I'd for sure tell someone they were full of crap in an academic setting.
