of the shooter. It appears that he is on the street when the shots began even though the articles painted a different picture. I guess it is possible that street may not be perfectly flat (can't tell from the angle of the video feed). Also, it isn't clear what floor of the garage he was on when the cops finally pinned him down. It appears there may be a YouTube clip of him inside the garage. I didn't click on it to know for sure.

Then again, I guess it is possible the initial attack started at street level and during the pursuit of the suspect he may have fired down upon the police officers at some point. Unfortunately, I don't think there is a news article out that gives enough details of his exact movement.
