Anybody have a favorite waffle batter (mix or from recipe)?


So far we've tried Bisquick and Krusteaz...both were fine...plenty tasty. Still, not quite what I was hoping for (was trying to get close to the stuff in the hotel). I've heard that many hotels use "Carbon's Golden Malted", and might pick up some of that from Amazon. Recommendations?

P.S. Not really interested in doing the overnight yeast thing...
