Ouch. I've been a diabetic for so long I vaguely remember life before...

diabetes.

Living with insulin is second nature and just part of my daily routine but at first I thought it was the worse thing in the world. After a few months it just became another chore.

My sister died from unchecked diabetes...she just decided the hell with it. She wasn't giving up those things she liked. At the end the sugar ravaged her body (including her skin) and she just shut completely down. 🙁
