There are also 2 versions, original release, w/narration and director's cut


without Deckard's narration. The studio 'forced' Scott to add the narration, because I think they thought it would be hard to follow otherwise. Of course, purists prefer the director's cut.

My Dad loves it (though has only ever seen original) and I never got into it....have seen parts several times, but don't think I've seen it all the way through, start to finish.
