MLS jsut a notch up from college but nowhere near what they need

for USA soccer to advance upward. You're right, it's all about going overseas or even South to play against very good competition on a more year round basis.

As good of results as Weah produced yesterday, I've seen him be ordinary at other times. It will also be interesting to see if he will be all in for the USA given his Dad's storied history and ambition.
