I was accused of it by a co-worker...


She said I made her uncomfortable because, apparently, at a staff meeting I passed behind her and touched her on the arm. She also said that I whispered, "I'm going to slide by you real quick."
When HR called me in and informed me of this I laughed. I said that I do remember that incident. It was a meeting that was standing room only. She was near the wall...along with many others and I did pass behind her. I probably did touch her on the shoulder and tell her that I was sliding behind her so that I could get to a table. I did whisper because the meeting had already started.
This was investigated, while I was suspended with pay. After 2 weeks I was told that I did nothing wrong....and here's the kicker....
I was not allowed back to my job. I had to be transferred to another location. Why? Because she said I made her feel uncomfortable and that she would be uncomfortable working with me. The HR guy said that he would get in big trouble if he moved her since she felt harassed and still felt uncomfortable.
So yeah, I was pretty pissed off. I take claims of "harassment" with a grain of salt now thanks to that woman.
PS...Worst part....she wasn't even remotely attractive and 20 years older than me! I mean, if I'm gonna sexually harass someone I'd at least make it worth my time!!!
