I hear you, I just don't really see any clear cut good guy/bad guy in this

scenario. Sure, Gomez showed him up and the pitcher's teammates have just cause to get fired up but I think hitters get the raw end, they're allowed to get hit and, perhaps, charge the mound but if they have success against the pitcher willing to hit him, they can't show them up. I'll take show offs over brawls in baseball any day.

80 mph baseball close to the knee, I think I'll comfortably stand by my point.
